U.S. VOTE - Postcard Project

So... raise your hand if you're freaking the #$%& out. My hand is raised, in case anyone was wondering. There's a lot more wrong with this country than the guy in the white house.  But there's an election coming up and getting him out of there – and flipping the senate – feels like a 1000 alarm fire. If you're like me, you want to do something, but might not feel sure exactly what.

Well, after Ruth Bader-Ginsburg passed away last week my partner Jackie found that there were a few different postcard/letter-writing campaigns going on to help turn out the vote. I'm not really a phone person, but I do generally like getting mail from actual humans. Writing to actual people about why voting is important to me felt like something I could actually do… and even look forward to. I’ve signed up with Vote Forward, and I drew an image for a card to send. I‘m sharing that design here as a downloadable PDF, in case anyone else is looking to get involved one postcard at a time. Get some cardstock, click on either image below to get a template to print at home.

Also feel free to get out the markers and color or add to these if you want. And maybe, possibly, fingers crossed... make a small difference on November 3rd.

Also, for what it’s worth, this non-partisan website offers Voter Registration, Voter Status (checking to make sure you are registered), Polling Places, and more.

And of course, if postcarding isn’t your thing - there’s lots of other ways to get involved as the days tick down toward Nov. 3.

I don't want to wake up on the fourth and wish I'd done more. I want these bastards gone. And the more people that vote, the better.
