Yes I still draw random S#*%

It’s been over a year since I’ve posted any sketchbook pages, so I’m gonna drop a bunch here over the next few days/weeks. The first two spreads here are from the 2025 Los Angeles Times festival of the book. I did a panel and a signing and then went to catch Elaine Pagels on a panel about the history of Christianity. Her book the Gnostic Gospels was hugely influential to me when I read it, I think in high school. It was a little bit of a stars in your eyes moment getting her to sign a copy of her new book.
